In 2012, a workshop organised by ADRA Malawi motivated farmers in Lilongwe District to form an association to help them grow and market groundnuts and soya as alternative crops to tobacco.[1] ADRA Malawi provided capacity-building training and contacts to agribusiness companies. Representatives from the Kang’oma Groundnut Association organised the inputs and material.
